If you only have time to read one sustainability related news this weekend I’d definitely recommend you to read this new report from Greenpeace – even just the overview is worth your time. I’m so for the fact that they put the responsibility of making the necessary changes in the fashion industry on the bigger brands and policy makers, instead of on the consumer.

If you read my post about vegan leather pros and cons, you’ll know I’m tremendously interested in all the possible alternatives out there. Nothing is quite right yet, but things are looking promising. On that note Nike launched a new sustainable leather made from 50% recycled leather.
