Eco Fashion Shopping: Everlane, San Francisco

San Francisco was eco fashion shopping paradise and I want to share my favourite places with you. I’m planning on sharing them all in an Eco city guide eventually, which will include the amazing vegan places I ate at as well, but first I’m going to share the stores I visited with you as they were my priority (I have been to San Fran before and seen all the touristy things like Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Union Square, which are all worth a visit, but this time I just wanted to wander around the city and experience it in a more laidback way).

{ So many good things }

The first store I dropped by was Everlane. I’ve had a good eye on their clothes for a while and even included styles from their collections in my posts on summer dresses and summer sandals, but I’ve never actually seen or tried anything on, so I was curious to see if it would live up to my expectations. And it really did. I loved the store! It was located in a bright and airy space and the beautiful tree outside gave it a summery vibe (which is good in chilly San Fran). The store staff was really friendly, helping me get the right sizes and suggested alternatives if they were out of the things I asked for. They had a really good selection of high quality basics in eco-friendly materials and a minimalist colour-scheme that stole my scandi-heart.

With so many good things, I was kind of proud when I was actually able to constrain myself and only buy a basic linen tank top. I had a really nice chat with the sales assistant about the material and was given a postcard with information about linen, which I think is so great – even if most people won’t read it, it’s just good to spread the message of eco-friendly materials however, whenever you can.
