{Wearing Levi’s Beau Boyfriend jeans, Nike Air Max Thea kicks in leather, ASOS coat, COS t-shirt, RayBan sunglasses and Matt & Nat backpack }
Wandering around in London must be my favourite weekend activity. This weekend, the sun was out and it was the perfect fall weather to show of my new kicks and backpack, and to hold hands with my favourite person in the whole world, while discovering hidden gems in our new city.
{ Eggs Florentine / Benedict, orange juice, strawberry milkshake and black coffee = perfect start to a beautiful sunny Sunday }
Sundays involve hunting down the best Eggs Florentine (for me – Benedict for him) in London. This sunday we went to Lazy Social on Stoke Newington High St., not the best eggs, but loved the athmosphere there and would definitely come back for the coffee.
{ “Will my life be comfortable or meaningful” }
One of the many things I love about this city is the street art! When wandering around in London you see it everywhere and sometimes, it just hits home, like this one especially did for me. Learning more and more about sustainable fashion I struggle to find good products that fit my long list of criteria; it just keeps growing! Lately, I’ve really tried to choose the meaningful over the easy and comfortable choice. Like this backpack from vegan brand Matt & Nat, which I will tell you more about in a separate post, but let’s just say, it might be the best thing I’ve ever bought!
{ New Nike Air Max Thea kicks in leather }
I find myself walking everywhere, and even though I absolutely love my black classic shoes from & Other Stories, they are just not that comfortable to walk around in for an entire day. I only brought one other pair of shoes with me, when we moved here (trust me, there just wasn’t enough room in my suitcase for more!) and so, I quickly found myself on the lookout for another pair. I contemplated finding something vegan, but couldn’t really find any that I absolutely loved! I know Nike is not the most sustainable brand out there (although they actually do quite a bit), but I have been so happy with all my other Nike shoes (I have three – two of which are running shoes), so when I found these in leather, I knew I’d found the perfect fit. To me they are the perfect comfortable sneakers I love Nike for, but the leather makes them feel less sporty, which is just what I needed to replace the ones from & Other Stories.
{ Sundays and wandering around in London requires simple, comfortable classics }
