Zero waste DIY kimono

Brainstorming

{ Snapshot from my brainstorming session }

A couple of weeks ago I rediscovered this fabric that I’d purchased last summer at a (not so sustainable) market in Berlin. I have no idea how or where it was made, so I decided to try and make a zero waste pattern to make at least the last part of the production sustainable and conscious. I’ve wanted a kimono to wear to the beach and over simple dresses on cooler days for a while and this fabric seemed to make the perfect fit. It turned out beautifully and I’ve already worn it several times while on vacation last week.
