Good Things

Good things

{ Having a coffee and a croissant to go along with work is always a good idea }

Last week was filled with so many good things. Many of them just small moments that put a smile on my face, but those are the most important moments, aren’t they? December and Christmans is here and I love this time of year. I think it’s such a perfect ‘invention’ of an excuse to cosy up inside, spent more time with loved ones and baking (and eating) sweet treats as often as possible.

My work motivation has been lacking the past few months and I had no idea of how to get it back. I finally decided to stop trying. Take the breaks I seemed to need and just go with the flow. And it seemed to do the trick. I honestly feel lighter, happier even and more motivated than I have all fall, so I’m thinking this week will be more of the same. More work, but also many more breaks without feeling guilty for needing them.

And more yoga. Along with my work motivation, I haven’t felt like practicing a ton of yoga lately, but last week I squeezed in two classes in studios (one of them included a delicious brunch) and three times on my mat at home. And my body has missed it so much. It’s funny how your mind can trick you into not doing something your body actually really needs.

What are you up to this week?

Good things

{ Wrapping and gifting 24 (small) presents to my favourite human }

Good things

{ Catching the sunset. It gets dark so early these days, so I love the days where I get to catch the last rays of the sun in the afternoon }

Good things

{ New pyjama set in organic cotton from People Tree. I couldn’t wait until Christmas for this one, so decided to get it for myself and it’s amazing! }

Good things

{ A hot chocolate and reading a few pages in this book on a random Wednesday afternoon }

Good Things

{ Getting a haircut. I always choose an organic hairdresser. It’s better for me, the environment and the stylist who doesn’t have ruin her skin from working with a ton of chemicals }

Good Things

{ Having a slow start to the day with yoga and hot ginger & lemon water }

Good Things

{ Delicious vegan lunch and a lovely chat with sweet Hanna }

Good Things

{ Wild flowers this time of year }

Good Things

{ Sunday was spent at a Yoga + Brunch event. Best concept }

Good Things

{ Baking Christmas cookies on a Sunday night. I love december }

  1. Looked at this one too!!
    What size did you buy the pajamas in? Love it and skeptical about if it will be to tight in 8.. usually wear a uk 8 đź’•

    • I actually went up two sizes just because I wanted it to be very loose. It terms of looks it’s definitely too big, but in terms of comfort it’s perfect. Haha. Also, I find the top a bit short (but I also have a long upper body) so not sure if my usual size would have been too short. It’s still the best pyjamas I’ve ever had, so comfortable, but still stylish enough so I don’t feel too slobby wearing it as much as I do. Can’t recommend it enough.
