{ Saturday night pizza date at La Cucina in Oxford }
This week ended on a high of good things and we honestly had the best weekend in Oxford. It’s such a beautiful city with all the old buildings and the nature and river so close. I think we were particularly lucky with the weather and enjoyed a clear blue sky and sunshine all three days.
We didn’t actually manage to see any of the buildings from the inside, so we’ll have to come back another time. Instead we wandered around the city center, my favourite human taught me how to play chess, we ate a lot; including a long brunch with new friends on Saturday. And we ended the trip with a slow Sunday morning at the hotel and a long walk in the park around Christ Church along the River Thames before catching the train back to London yesterday afternoon.
It was the perfect weekend getaway and while this Monday feels particularly grey and cold, I feel ready for a busy week and the arrival of December and Christmas.
{ I’ve decided to do a small test and try out the different yoga studios in the area and really enjoyed my class at The Well Garden on Tuesday }
{ Catching the sunset and a tiny new moon on my way home }
{ Travelling with this guy, snacks included <3 }
{ It felt appropriate to learn how to play chess at a pub while in Oxford }
{ Hotel breakfast at The Oxford Townhouse }
{ All wrapped up on an early morning walk }
{ The colder temps made for a perfect excuse to have several hot chocolate breaks throughout our stay }
{ The last rays of the sun and a bit of Christmas feeling }
