{ Homemade vegan ‘risotto’ on Friday night }
I’m still amazed by how many good things happen in a week and doing these posts on Monday morning always helps me get over whatever weekend-blues I might be feeling. Today is a bank holiday here in the UK though, and the sun is shining (it kind of feels like summer has returned this weekend – fingers crossed it will last a few more weeks), so we kicked off the day with a long, relaxing breakfast on the balcony, and as soon as this post is published, you can find me out and about enjoying the sunshine with my favourite person (no weekend-blues here).
While I did spend two days in bed with a migraine last week, it still feels like we’ve managed to find a post-summer-holiday balance between work and play. Finding a beautiful, albeit expensive, office space has probably helped me, and it feels so good to leave the house in the morning, and to be able (on most days) to let the laptop stay in my bag when I get home in the evening. I also managed to squeeze in a bit more yoga than I have in the past two months, and this week I’m hoping it will be more of the same.
{ When you’re unwell and your favourite person knows how to treat you. I’ve suffered from migraines for years, but have recently decided to stop taking painkillers – it freaks me out what the side affects might be. The migraines are still horrible though, so if anyone has any natural migraine remedies; please share! }
