Good things

{ Last week started with a delicious brunch at Friends of Ours }

I’ve honestly been loving doing these Good Things posts. They truly make me appreciate the moment as well as help me remember all the good things that has happened in the past week. The first part of 2017 has felt so transitional and out of balance; moving to a new (okay not entirely new) city, figuring out what I want to do with my life (my job back in Denmark left me questioning every thing and this is such a big question – how is it even possible to answer?), becoming a certified yoga teacher and thrusting I can actually teach, finding balance in wanting to change the world and realising things take time. It’s been a struggle and I’m not entirely at a point yet where I feel I’ve got it all figured out, but somehow doing these posts every week has helped make me feel more grounded, more appreciative and more grateful of where I am and trusting of the good things that are bound to come my way. As long as I take time to notice them.

Last week started slow with a brunch and long a walk along the River Themsen with my dad and sister. They left later in the day after a long weekend full of exploring the city, catching up and lots of good food and the rest of the week I focused on getting back into a proper routine after a long summer. I’ve missed the sunshine since our trip to California, but somehow I’m also ready for everything that fall has to bring. What are you up to this week?

{ All over the city somethings is being build. My dad is always so interested in how they do it, so after just a few days with him I’ve adopted a habit of stopping in my tracks and looking up and just be in awe of what’s possible }

{ I love eating out, but after four days of eating out at every meal, it was pretty nice to enjoy home cooked food again }
