[ Dear Goods in Munich, Germany]
I wanted to introduce a new category on the blog; ecofashion shopping. Whenever I go travelling to a new city and know I’ll have some time for shopping, I research potential ecofashion focused shops beforehand. This way I can steer clear of the high street and instead spend more time wandering around the city, eat good food and drink plenty of coffee.
On a quick and busy work trip to Munich in early September last year, I managed to squeeze in some time to drop by Dear Goods – a cute little eco fashion boutique. I’d done a little research beforehand as I knew time would be limited (and I literally had to run to make it to the airport afterwards) and there were several shops to choose from. But I’m so glad I decided to only make the time for this one because it might just be one of the best eco fashion shops I’ve ever been to.
They had a wide range of brands and a good variation in styles and carried everything from bags to sunglasses over interior things to clothes – all carefully selected and with responsibility in mind. The boutique was pretty small, but still elegantly decorated, the girl working there was so sweet and had it not been for the very limited space in my suitcase I might just have bought everything.
[Sweater from Wunder[werk] in 100 % organic cotton ]
I ended up opting for a white knit in organic cotton from Wunder[werk], a brand I didn’t really know before (but have definitely kept my eyes out for them since), and some extra stockings from favourite Swedish Stockings. Both turned out to be perfect for the upcoming fall weather and I’ve used both buys a lot in the past few months.
