Celebrating that it’s Friday with some of my current favourites. It’s been a short week due to Bank Holiday on Monday, but with moving into a new flat and getting settled in London in general, it feels like it’s been a long week and I can’t wait for the weekend. I’m going to spend mine with a swim in the Olympic pool, a dinner-date tomorrow night, Eggs Florentine on Sunday and maybe a visit to a market or two, depending on the weather. I hope you have a great end of the week too.

  1. My Instagram account definitely tells the story of a coffee addict, but I’m also a huge tea lover. Pukka has long been my favourite brand and after some hectic first weeks in London their Cleanse seems more appropriate than ever. A blend of nettle, fennel and peppermint is the perfect end to a busy day.
  2. Knowledge is power! I’m always curious to see what’s new in the world of sustainable fashion and can’t wait to read this book by Jennifer Farley Gorden and Colleen Hill in which they explore the past, present and future of the field.
  3. I’ve already added a piece from my fall wishlist to my wardrobe. Last Sunday, while wandering around Shoreditch after starting our new London tradition “Finding the best Eggs Florentine in the city”, we stumbled upon this cute little coffeeshop and boutique on Shoreditch High St. and I finally found my perfect pair of jeans. They have been glued to my legs ever since.
  4. Even if traveling on the Tube might not be my favourite past time, especially during rush hour, it is a necessary part of almost every Londoners life and I’m so excited to be back in my favourite city that even traveling on the tube seems exotic.
  5. Because I’m addicted to lip balm, it has become (one of) my life mission(s) to find the perfect one. This one in Sweet Mint from eos is not only 95% organic, 100% natural and paraben free it also packaged in my favourite colour, which makes it a current number one on my list.
